We want you to be absolutely satisfied with your purchase from Global4Components; however on the rare occasion you do need to return your item we have a hassle free returns policy.

What if I have changed my mind and want to return my non-faulty item?

All items are covered by our 14 day refund guarantee, so please make sure your inform us of your intention to return your item(s) within 14 days of receipt of your purchase.

Please contact us at weborders@global4components.com quoting your original order number, date of receipt, name and address and contact number.

Please make sure you obtain a Returns Identity Number before returning your products.

The product would need to be returned back to, (and received by us) unused and unmarked within 14 days of you notifying us of the return. Please note, flat packed products once assembled or part assembled cannot be returned or refunded. It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that the item is returned in sufficient packaging to protect the item from any possible transit damage (preferably the original packaging if possible).  Due to the item not being faulty the buyer will be responsible for the return postage costs. 

We cannot accept returns after the 14 day Refund Guarantee has expired. If you return your purchase after the 14 day period, your purchase will be returned to you and any postal/delivery charges incurred relating to the product purchased and the location to which your returns will be delivered will be charged to you prior to returning relevant item. Distance Selling Regulations Apply on orders placed via our online store. This does not apply to faulty or damaged goods.

Returned Items must be unused and be returned with their original packaging with all tags intact so that they can be resold. Where you have failed to take reasonable care of the goods, whether whilst in your possession or when returning them and they do not reach us in a fully resalable condition we reserve the right to refuse a refund, or issue a part refund.

When returning your item(s) you are responsible for the cost of postage. For your protection we suggest you use recorded delivery to track your item(s) and ensure safe return of your item(s).
All refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days of goods being received back into our warehouse.

Refunds will be processed using the same method as the original purchase. This will not affect your statutory rights.

What if I receive my item and it is faulty or damaged?

Any faulty goods must be reported to us within 3 working days of receipt of goods via weborders@global4components.com with photographic images and returned to us with the original packaging (we advise you retain the original packaging until you are completely satisfied with your purchase), you will then be entitled to a full refund or a replacement if the goods are in fact deemed to be defective. Please note, we will require photographic evidence of any faults/damages reported to us. When receiving the delivery from our couriers we do recommend that you check the condition of the packaging.  Should you find that the parcels are damaged or have been torn or tampered with we insist that you sign for the parcel/s "damaged".

You can either,

  • Reject the goods. Do not sign for the goods, or sign the goods as ‘damaged & rejected’ and refuse delivery. If goods are not signed for as damaged when delivered, the ownership of the goods is passed to you (the customer), any damaged found therein will be deemed to have been caused after the delivery and will not be applicable for any refund.
  • Keep the goods. You must still sign the delivery note as ‘damaged’ and report the damaged items to Global4Components immediately via weborders@global4components.com. We will then arrange for the damaged pieces to be replaced.

Please keep all original packaging until you are satisfied with the product(s). In the event of a return we require the goods sending back in original condition and in original packaging.

In the event that a repair cannot be made, we will replace the furniture, or give a full refund including any delivery charges (where applicable). The goods that are deemed faulty revert to the ownership of Global4Components, and must be in our possession before monies are refunded.

Goods received back incomplete or in a damaged or used condition that have not been reported will either be returned back to you and the cost of delivery will be charged to you and you will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage.

What if I receive my item and parts are missing?

Any parts which are found to be missing can be easily resolved via weborders@global4components.com and must be reported within 3 working days of delivery.  All you will need to do is provide the correct information of the missing part. We will then arrange for the requested parts to be dispatched.

What if I want to cancel my order?

We fully understand that your circumstances may alter.

You may cancel your order via weborders@global4components.com whereby you would need to provide all the correct information. Any cancellations made on an order which can be supplied within 30 days may incur a £10 administration fee. Any items marked 'special order' are subject to a 30% cancellation fee including orders where you have requested items to be assembled. You can cancel your order without penalty at any time prior to the goods being dispatched from our warehouse.

Unfortunately once goods have been processed for delivery, or have left the warehouse we cannot cancel the order and the goods must be received and sent back at the customers expense.

If the goods have left the warehouse and cannot be delivered due to reasons beyond our control return charges will apply. These reasons include, but are not limited to:

  • The customer cancels the order after the items have been dispatched.
  • We are unable to complete the delivery due to access issues.
  • The customer is unavailable or unable to take delivery of the goods.

Once the item has been returned back to our warehouse a refund will be processed accordingly.

Product Descriptions

Global4Components and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible about its product descriptions and images. Although the information and recommendations are presented in good faith and believed to be correct, we make no representations or warranties as to the completeness or accuracy of the information.  Information is supplied upon the condition that the person will make their own determination as to its suitability for their purposes prior to use. 

If a product delivered by Global4Components is not as described, please contact weborders@global4components.com to discuss your options. We will not accept items back which have been assembled or do not come back in their original packaging or form.

The descriptions of items offered for sale on our web site are provided by the product manufacturer or their UK agents/distributors. Some of the items we sell are hand-made and/or made from natural materials and any descriptions, colours, measurements and photographs should be considered approximate and for guidance only. 

Please note all items (excluding certain chairs) are sent flat packed unless stated otherwise

Any cancellations made on items that have been selected to be assembled by our assembly team are classed as special order items and any cancellations on these particular orders will result in a restocking charge which would be equivalent to the assembly charge paid by you plus a £10 cancellation charge.

In the event where orders are flagged as high risk then as a security measure we can only ship to the billing address and in some cases a bank transfer will be required.
